Engineering branch has committed to public service in Polonnaruwa district secretariat for more than 18 years with it, main objecttive of providing engineering services in public sector. As time programe role of engineering section has broadened and eleven officer are employed in the sector accordingly.
One of the key functions of the division is, to ensure the quality standards of all constructions in the Polonnaruwa District under the Authority of the District Secretary and Conduct Development Project with Technical Officers.
